First post

Who would have thought about putting up a knitting based post - certainly not I! But it seems to be mostly what I'm doing at the moment, so why not, and with the added bonus that I can show off what I'm doing. There may be some crocheting also mentioned, but mostly I'm a knitter. At the moment I'm doing lots (and lots and lots and LOTS!) of squares for the witchlet's school - they are all going to be sewn into a blanket and raffled off to raise money for the school. We also have a father's day stall coming up, so I'm trying to think of cool dad stuff to do for that (mobile phone cases? We'll see what happens.) After this stuff is done, I'll have a look at the Knit4Charities requests (fabulous organisation which I'll be getting stuck into shortly) and also I might hopefully get to finish the jumper I started a couple of months ago before winter is over!
